FCC Says NO Telemarketing Calls to Cell Phones

The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) did something it rarely does and that is respond to a rumor.  Apparently there is an email circulating that says the FCC is going to allow telemarketers to call your cell phone directly.  The FCCs response was there is no truth to this rumor now or ever.

As we reported recently, the FCC has also now made it illegal to call any phone, with a few exceptions, using an autodialer and prerecorded messages.  [Read Story Here]  This would also apply to cell phones which have always off limits to telemarketers.
