GIZMODO Goes Loco Over Not Getting Demo Storm 2
I was scanning the recent BlackBerry related rss feeds this morning and almost crapped myself when I saw the title of a post this morning from our friends at GIZMODO.
BlackBerry Thinks You’re All MotherF*ckers
I’m not making that up either folks, that’s the real title of the article and it’s nothing short of a declaration of war by GIZMODO against Research in Motion (RIM).
What’s the beef? Well apparently Giz is ticked that they didn’t get a demo Storm 2 so they could review it. To make matters worse CrackBerry did get demo unit and that didn’t sit well with the folks at Giz.
What do I think? I think they have every right to be pissed at Research in Motion (RIM) for overlooking them. Sure they were probably going to blast that pathetic SurePress crap that RIM insists on shoving down the BlackBerry communities throat, like the rest of the “real” reviewers are, but that’s no reason to sidestep a major online publication like GIZMODO.
Now if you are RIM you might want to take a quick look at the page rank for GIZMODO on dnScoop.com. A page rank 8 web site that gets upwards of 100,000 visits per day, is not the kind of organization you ignore.
