Hooked on Pirating? Sid Meier’s Pirates Game Review

sidmeierspirates Hooked on Pirating? Sid Meiers Pirates Game ReviewArgh Matey’s! Release the inner pirate in you. Concrete Software, Inc. recently released its Sid Meier’s Pirates! A swashbuckling role-player that is sure to bring out the sea dog in any BlackBerry user.

Most of us at one point have acted like a pirate and daydreamed of being one. Well all though the small screen and average graphics might not trick you into thinking your setting sail in the seven seas, the story and action-adventure game-play are definitely worth the small price. Why sit in traffic when you can be transported to the Caribbean aboard a pirate ship fast on the tail of rich British merchants. Be prepared to go blade to blade with some of the nastiest seamen of the 1700’s, and hopefully pick up a little booty along the way.

The game play is at first a tad confusing, but once you get the hang of it you’ll feel like a regular black beard. Of course you won’t get the satisfaction of a handheld gaming system, but for a fraction of the price you won’t feel as if you’ve been pirated out of your treasure.

If your looking for a game you play once and never again than look elsewhere, because you will get hooked! (no pun attended). At times I actually found myself setting aside time in my day to play and plunder. I would definitely recommend this game for anyone from the business man to the teenager.
