New OS for BlackBerry Tour on Verizon (4.7.1.53)
Verizon has just released an official update to the BlackBerry Tour OS from 4.7.1.40 to 4.7.1.53. To get the latest OS version do the following:
- Connect your BlackBerry to the PC via USB cable
- Go to this site using Internet Explorer: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/devices/#tab_tab_update
- Click the Update button on the page that pops up.
- Follow the instructions, but pretty much from here, it’s next, next, next
- DO NOT DISCONNECT your BlackBerry until the entire process finishes
