UberGizmo is reporting that owners of the original BlackBerry Storm will be able to upgrade to OS5.0 on 10/25/09.

You can pick up the firmware update here when it’s released tomorrow.  Just be sure to connect your BlackBerry Storm to the computer via USB and then click on the above link.  Also as a note, this only works on Internet Explorer.
