obama air force one President Obama Bans Texting While Driving for Federal Employees President Barack Obama today issued an executive order banning federal employees from sending text messages while driving government vehicles.   The order goes one step further and bans the use of a government issued cell phone while driving a privately owned vehicle.

This move comes after a two-day conference in Washington that included policy makers, 300 academics, legislators, and law enforcement officials.
