RIM Embraces Google as Apple Snubs them
According to leaked documents, the newest version of the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) 3.0 will supposedly feature better synchronization with Google’s Gmail. This is in stark contrast with the pissing match that Apple and Google are going through, which has lead to Apple threatening to replace Google with Bing on it’s popular iPhones.
The upgrade will also bring Windows Media Audio attachments as well as OpenOffice documents into the realm of the BlackBerry universe.
Two thumbs up to RIM for not being intimidated by a rival and listening to the customer and giving us what we want and need.
