TaskManager MASTER App Review for BlackBerry
I remember the day I first got my BlackBerry. I played around with it for awhile, exploring all its nooks and crannies. Trying out all the preinstalled apps and checking out all the cool features. Within a week I probably had about fifteen or so new apps installed. Then about two weeks after I bought my BlackBerry it started having technical problems. It would run slow and the battery would die in a very short time. When I called my Verizon store, they explained to me that I hadn’t been properly closing apps which meant they were left running in the background taking up memory and power.
A new app can solve this problem. TaskManager Master, by Leetcom, is an app that can properly close all open apps on your BlackBerry. The app is incredibly easy to use. Just start it up and hit the “Close all Apps” button. The app will then cycle through all the open apps and display a list of which apps were closed. If you don’t want to close every app, then you can choose specific ones off of the list. Unfortunately, there are some apps that prevent TaskManager from closing them, so you’ll have to close those apps manually. Which brings up the question, “If you know how to close apps manually, then why do you need this app?”.
In all honesty, this app kind of seems like a waste of a $1.99. If you don’t know how to close apps the right way, feel free to ask the store who sold you your BlackBerry. I don’t see any purpose in spending money on an app that does it for you.
