USA Flag Screensaver and Charging Monitor App Review
Are you looking for a way to show your patriotism to the US? Well you can hang a flag from your porch, you can decorate your car with magnets and stickers, or you can dress up as Uncle Sam. Looking for an easier way? How about customizing your BlackBerry with an American Flag screensaver? The USA Flag Screensaver and Charging Monitor app can do that and more!
The app, by LSphone, is a basic screensaver and charging monitor double pack, with a few bonus features. For starters, your screen will display a classic American flag as the screensaver. Obviously no description of what this looks like is needed! The flag is also displayed when you charge your phone, and that’s when the bonus features come into play.
First, the time of day is displayed in the top left corner above the American flag. So you don’t have to activate your phone to check the time. There’s also a micro dial clock incase you’re not a fan of the digital. Third, you’ll see the current days date in the top right of the screen.
Across the bottom of the screen, underneath the flag, you will see all the battery stats. From left to right you’ll see: percentage of battery charged, temperature of battery in Celsius, temperature of battery in Fahrenheit, and the battery charging icon that fills and changes color as the battery charges.
The two battery temperatures will stay green if the battery if charging. However, if the battery over heats they will turn red, and if it’s too cold they’ll turn blue. The date, digital clock, and battery charging icon will continually cycle through red, white, and blue to continue the patriotic theme.
Users can turn on or off any features they don’t like via the apps option menu. If you want, you can turn everything off so it’s just the American flag. All in all this is a well done app and it’s hard to say anything bad about it. At $.99 the price is just right. So if you’re looking for a way to bring a little USA to your phone, give this app a try!
