Who’s Calling! ReverseLookup Review for BlackBerry
There’s nothing more that I hate then people calling me and not knowing who the heck they are. I can’t stand getting a phone call at two AM in the morning from a completely random number and listen to people ask stupid questions they thought would be funny. Chances are you’ve had this happen to you also, and chances are you hate it. So what can you do? Run to your computer and Google reverse phone look up to try and get the name of someone. Well there’s plenty of websites that offer this services, unfortunately they’re extremely expensive. Plus you have to have access to a computer. Well now all you need is your BlackBerry and the new application ReverseLookup by Leetcom.
ReverseLookup is an application that you allow you to see where the call is coming from while it’s being received. All you do is download the app, and it automatically starts whenever you’re getting an incoming call. You can also quickly add the number to your contacts or call it back. The application is extremely easy to use and easy to download. The appearance mimics whatever your theme is, so it will always fit nicely.
ReverseLookup can be useful in some situations. However, in all honesty it can easily be replaced by just searching the phone number’s area code on a search engine. The only time I can see using it is whenever you don’t have access to a computer. For example, someone calls me late at night and I don’t feel like getting out of bed. The average user probably won’t find it useful. But the businessman most likely will. Because you can see where the numbers calling from, you will be able to put a clients face to the location.
I would recommend this application for people who deal with unidentified phone numbers frequently. For just $1 you’ll find it useful. But I wouldn’t say it’s a necessary tool for every BlackBerry user.
