Susan Decker at Bloomberg.com is reporting that several companies including Research in Motion, Ltd. and Apple, Inc. were named in a complaint to the U.S. International Trade Commission.  The complaint alleges that these and other companies are using memory chips in some of their devices that infringe upon the patent rights of BTG International Inc.  The patents in question have something to due with programming and shoving more data onto the memory chips…<details censored due to boredom)

Although boring, this could be serious, because it could mean several high profile electronic devices could be barred from import.  Amoung the list is our beloved BlackBerry Storm and for you Apple lovers, the iPhone.
