Yahoo Kowtows to Apple for Criticizing the App Store

In a swift move to save face and not anger the all powerful Apple, Yahoo has retracted a post by a Yahoo employee that was critical of Apple for taking more than two weeks to approve the latest version of the Yahoo! Messenger app for inclusion on the Apple App Store.  Really, another Apple debacle at the App Store, imagine that??

In an official statement, Yahoo! stated that the employee miscommunicated information and went on to say they have been “pleased by the approval process and Apple’s responsiveness.”

This just goes to show that a corporation has to know their place and apparently Yahoo’s is at the feet of Apple.  Hey Yahoo, there’s a little dirt there, you missed a spot.
